FREE Insulation Grants Rossendale

The insulation grant is a way of improving your home’s efficiency, whilst having some or all of the cost covered by the grant. This is part of the wider ECO scheme which is aimed at improving heating for your home, typically through boiler upgrades. The ECO scheme has been available since July 2022 with the current Eco 4 scheme available until 31st March 2026.

This has been setup to help the government achieve their sustainability targets and reduce carbon emissions. By adding insulation to your home, you reduce heat loss in colder months and prevent heat increase for warmer months. Ultimately, this reduces the carbon emissions from your home, whilst also reducing energy bills. As the grant covers your costs, it makes it a great solution for the short and long-term.

Eligibility For the Insulation Grant

Unfortunately, not everyone is eligible for the insulation grant. When you make your application, there are several different factors that could affect you and you must also meet at least one of a specific criteria. Furthermore, our team will also assess the current efficiency of your heating systems and your insulation for you to be eligible. If you are already of a high enough standard, you may not be eligible for an upgrade.

To be eligible, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Child Benefit
• Pension Guarantee Credit
• Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
• Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
• Income Support
• Tax Credits (Child Tax Credits and Working Tax Credits)
• Universal Credit
• Housing benefit
• Pension credit saving credit

The number of claimants within your household could also affect your eligibility. Our team are happy to offer advice, making the application process as straightforward as possible. Once application is complete, we source and install all materials for insulation, using only the best suppliers for long-term efficiency. Additionally, if you also have a boiler upgrade, only ‘A’ rated boilers will be used.
