The government boiler grant looks to reduce carbon emissions produced by inefficient and old boilers. Low efficiency boilers produce high carbon emissions and also cause high energy costs and bills for vulnerable households. Using the grant supports people in this position as part of the wider ECO scheme. The ECO scheme includes other methods for improving efficiency such as insulation.
If eligible, the grant can cover part or all of the cost of a new boiler and its installation. Unfortunately, the grant is not available to all individuals and homeowners. We will assess your current boiler and heating efficiency to check it is of a low enough standard to be suitable for an upgrade. You must also complete an application. We will advise all clients on the application process for the government boiler grant in Burnley.
